Gay BearXXX Review

It often seems as if the gay porn industry is obsessed with hairless, inexperienced twinks. Actually, I think the industry is, but that's another story. There are plenty of sites starring horny, older, burly men, but perhaps not enough of them for those with an adoring eye for bears. Gay Bear XXX promises a buffet of bears and the tour certainly presents some rugged hunks.

Inside the GayBearXXX members' area are hairy chests and cocks that'll have you harder than a rock. However, along with some heat there is quite a bit of disappointment. I have no complaints about the men. There are bears and a few cubs, but the really rough and rugged daddy's presented on the tour in the site banner cannot be found in the episode list.

Speaking of episodes, there are 10 of them and the last time the site added a new movie was back in April 2009. You may be wondering what the fuck you're paying for with this membership, then? Well, basically it comes down to the fact that GayBearXXX is a small, very small part of a megasite that includes seven reality sites, 22 bonus sites and gay theaters and a healthy dose of live cam and video plug-in sites. The problem is that nothing really stands out as exclusive. In fact, a lot of the content, even from some of the more original sites, can be found as part of numerous gay site's bonus package. Also, the bear content here, even despite the limited amount, is a clone of another site.

Things go from bad to worse when you begin to realize that only two episodes can be downloaded. The remaining movies can only be streamed and the quality isn't as great as the downloadable Windows Media Videos. Download speeds are slow, but at least you have a choice between multiple qualities and there are five-minute clips as well as full-length options.

Final Verdict

I suppose the Gay Bear XXX action that is offered is hot, but it's hard to get into the hardcore when you're already feeling a bit ripped off from the get go. Fortunately, the two movies that can be downloaded are very good quality, but two quality downloads and another eight streaming videos plus a shitload of non-exclusive sites and plug-ins hardly seems worth the price of admission.
